This journey combines Uzbekistan’s classic Silk Road cities with a desert experience, offering a balanced itinerary across Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand, and Tashkent.
In addition to UNESCO-listed heritage sites and historic architecture, the program includes a stay in a traditional yurt camp, providing insight into nomadic traditions and life in the Kyzylkum region.
The itinerary is structured for comfortable travel while covering key cultural and geographical highlights.

Tour itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival in Urgench → Khiva
Arrival at Urgench International Airport. Transfer to Khiva (approx. 30 km).
After check-in and rest, begin exploration of Ichan Kala.
Visit key monuments including Kunya Ark, Kalta Minor Minaret, Tash Khauli Palace, Juma Mosque, and the Mausoleum of Pahlavan Mahmud.
Overnight in Khiva
Day 2 — Khiva → Bukhara (Kyzylkum Desert)
Drive to Bukhara (approx. 450 km / 7–8 hours) across the Kyzylkum Desert.
Arrival and time at leisure.

Day 3 — Bukhara | Historic Centre
Explore Bukhara’s main architectural sites.
Visit Magoki Attori Mosque, the covered trading domes, Ulugh Beg and Abdulaziz Khan madrasahs, and the Poi Kalyan complex.
Continue to Ark Fortress and Chor Minor.
Overnight in Bukhara
Day 4 — Bukhara | Cultural Heritage
Continue exploring the old city.
Visit Lyabi Hauz ensemble, Samanid Mausoleum, Bolo Hauz Mosque, and Chashma Ayub.
Overnight in Bukhara
Day 5 — Bukhara → Nurata → Yurt Camp
Drive to Nurata (approx. 180 km), with a stop in Gijduvan to visit a ceramics workshop.
Explore Nurata, including the sacred spring and remains of a fortress associated with Alexander the Great.
Continue to a desert yurt camp near Aydarkul Lake.
Dinner with traditional music.
Overnight in yurt
Day 6 — Yurt Camp → Aydarkul → Samarkand
Optional camel ride and visit to Aydarkul Lake (weather permitting).
Drive to Samarkand (approx. 240 km).

Day 7 — Samarkand | Timurid Heritage
Explore Samarkand.
Visit Registan Square, Gur Emir Mausoleum, Shakhi-Zinda necropolis, Ulugh Beg Observatory, Afrasiab Museum, and Bibi Khanum Mosque.
Visit Siab Bazaar and a traditional paper workshop.
Overnight in Samarkand
Day 8 — Samarkand → Shakhrisabz → Samarkand
Day trip to Shakhrisabz.
Visit Ak-Saray Palace ruins, Kok-Gumbaz Mosque, and Dorus Saodat complex.
Return to Samarkand.
Overnight in Samarkand
Day 9 — Samarkand → Tashkent
Transfer to Tashkent (approx. 280 km / 4–5 hours).
Visit Khast Imam Complex and Chorsu Bazaar.
Overnight in Tashkent
Day 10 — Tashkent | City Tour
Continue exploring Tashkent.
Visit Independence Square, Amir Timur Square, and selected metro stations.
Optional visits to religious landmarks.

Day 11 — Departure
Transfer to the airport for departure.
